Zip Drive Software Instructions (as of 10/19/00)

1.  Print this page.

2.  Click here to download the zip driver.

3.  When you see the "Save As" window, choose to "Save In" 3 1/2 Floppy A. Be
sure to have a diskette in the drive. Click the Save button at the lower
right of the window.

4.  After the file has downloaded (watch the progress indicator), remove the
diskette from the drive and take it to the computer to which you are
connecting the Zip drive.

5.  All of the programs and windows on the computer should be closed before
beginning the installation process. Begin the installation by double
clicking on the My Computer icon,  then double clicking on the 3 1/2 Floppy A
icon. Double click on "ioware9xdrv.exe", and then click the Setup button to
install the Zip drivers.

6.  Follow the instructions for the installation, using the default suggestions
in every case. You may need to restart your computer when the installation
has completed. Make sure your Zip drive is connected and plugged into the
wall.
